By participating in/reading my coaching service/website/blog/email series, you acknowledge that I am not a licensed mental health professional or health care professional and my services do not replace the care of mental health professionals or healthcare professionals. Coaching is in no way to be construed or substituted as psychological counseling or any other type of therapy or medical advice. I will at all times exercise my best professional efforts, skills and care. However, I cannot guarantee the outcome of coaching efforts and/or recommendations on my website/blog/email series and my comments about the outcome are expressions of opinion only. I cannot make any guarantees other than to deliver the coaching services purchased as described.
IN OTHER WORDS…
I cannot diagnose or treat any mental/medical condition, nor prescribe medication or give advice about medication other than my general opinion about medication overall. However, I’m an expert at what I do. I’ve got the street cred. The experience. The skills. And the qualifications. However, we should probably give a group nod to the fact that I am not a licensed mental health professional or health care professional, and my services don’t replace the care of mental health professionals or other healthcare professionals. (Though I do own a pretty impressive brown leather chair, thank you very much.) With that comes the standard eye-glaze inducing disclaimer that, no, I cannot actually guarantee the outcome of our coaching efforts and/or recommendations on my website/blog/email series, and my comments about the outcome are expressions of (my very personal) opinion only. I can guarantee you this, however: I will do my best to coach you, and I’ll do everything in my power to help. I will motivate you, encourage you, educate you to the best of my ability, and challenge you to live healthier mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, relationally, and financially. I will also help identify roadblocks standing in your way of achieving those things and help you develop a road-map to overcome any obstacles. I will share with you how I live calmly day to day and hope that you also will find benefit. I will coach you using stories, examples, and illustrations that make learning fun and engaging, and I will only coach you about things I am educated about or have experience with. I assume that you have already sought out a licensed mental health professional/doctor for diagnosis and treatment before receiving coaching from me and are simply needing some coaching to help you live a more calm and healthy life.
If you are under 18 years of age, I will require prior written email consent from a parent/guardian that they are authorizing you to be coached by me before our session. They can email email@example.com.
